Seed Architects are a well-established Chartered Architectural Practice in Manchester City Centre and are seeking an experienced Senior level Architectural Technician that would relish the challenge of taking on responsibility in our expanding team.

The Technician will be predominantly working within the rail and residential sectors and therefore experience within these sectors is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be willing to commute to Manchester City Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced Senior level Architectural Technician to join an expanding Architectural Practice and progress with their career. The Technician must have experience of working in a UK practice.

Senior Architectural Technician Position Overview

• Work on projects predominantly within the rail and residential sectors
• Manage a number of design projects simultaneously
• Liaise with architects to ensure projects are run efficiently and effectively
• Engage with consultants e.g. structural and M&E teams
• Delivering detailed design packages, including specifications, for tender and construction

Senior Architectural Technician Position Requirements

• Architectural Technician with 4-5 years minimum, UK experience
• 2 years minimum Revit experience
• Good understanding of construction and detailing
• Good product knowledge
• Experience in delivering detailed design packages, including specifications, for tender and construction
• Experience with coordination with consultants, e.g. structural and M&E teams
• Experience with filing and organising documents and drawings
• Ideally have experience in rail and/or commercial sectors, but not necessary
• Good communication, time management and problem solving skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Have a good attitude
