Major international multidisciplinary practice

BDP’s Landscape Architect profession is continuing to grow due to securing a number of exciting and challenging projects. As a core discipline of BDP, the landscape profession is able to drive positive urban change through our integrated approach to design; creating places for people to experience and enjoy.

In the North of England our landscape team have recently been appointed by the National Trust to develop concept proposals for Phase 2 of the Castlefield Viaduct project and continue to work on a wide variety of landscape-led projects across the UK and internationally. We are therefore seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to work out of our Manchester Studio, with the opportunity to work in our Sheffield and Birmingham Studios.

Candidates will need to have a flair for design and an ability to visualise design ideas in a creative and compelling way.  As a major international interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers, engineers and urbanists, BDP offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of high-profile projects within multi-disciplinary project teams.

Teamwork is at the core of our approach, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate and support other members of our landscape team in the design and delivery of a broad range of projects.

About You

You will have excellent design skills coupled with good relevant experience that demonstrates solid CAD and IT proficiency. Passionate about Landscape Architecture, you will be keen to develop your personal and professional skills in a supportive environment.

You will demonstrate a collaborative team-working style and enjoy working to tight deadlines. You will be able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
