We are pleased to announce AiMxMSA: Making Matters, an upcoming exhibition at Material Source Studio, Manchester.
The intrigue and insight generated through physical model-making remain a powerful and enduring source of inspiration for those seeking to better understand the built environment. In an age defined by speed and convenience, the value of slowing down to engage with this tactile process can easily be overlooked. Yet for those immersed in making, the distinction between those who build ideas by hand and those who do not is clearly visible in the work produced.
Opening on 2nd March, the exhibition brings together a diverse range of international architectural models and voices from practice, each responding to the question: why does making matter to their process?
