Join us for a tour of The Depot, a transformational regeneration project on the site of former bus depot in south Manchester. Designed by Buttress and comprising over 300 homes, the development offers a mixtures of tenures suited for all ages to create an intergenerational community and a variety of housing typologies to successfully regenerate this area of south Manchester. David Coulson, Associate at Buttress Architects, will lead the tour and explain the approach and design ethos in reintegrating this area back to the wider residential context.
The MSA have arranged for a minibus to depart from Store Street, Manchester city centre to the site at 4:30pm. Tickets are available for both those who require transport to and from site, as well as a discounted option for attendees who do not require transport to/from site. Once back in the city centre guests are invited to Ducie Street Warehouse for an informal drinks and networking, and all tickets include a free drink.
4:30pm – minibus to depart bus rank on Store Street (adjacent to NCP car park and opposite Piccadilly Gate office building) to arrive at the Depot at 4:45pm
4:45pm – tour to start
6:00pm – tour to finish and minibus to depart
6:15pm – arrival back in the city centre at Ducie Street Warehouse
