Tara Gbolade is a London Mayor’s Design Advocate and co-director of award-winning Gbolade Design Studio – an architecture practice specialising in residential and mixed-use developments. She is a Trustee of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) and sits on Design Review Panels across London where she advises on major planning applications.
Gbolade Design Studio was founded in 2018 . Emerging from a unique blend of Nigerian-British heritage, they adopt culturally-responsive approaches to architecture and place shaping. Tara with her husband and co-Director, Lanre, also recently authored ‘Changing The Game – How to be a sustainable regenerative small practice’ (RIBA Publishing).
