MSA Awards 2019: Highlights

In 2019 we wanted the MSA Awards to exceed every expectation by hosting an event unlike anything the city had seen before.

We pulled out all the stops to secure Lord Norman Foster as independent judge and worked tirelessly to unite the entire construction industry behind our expansive vision. Through our hard work we were able to raise the profile of Manchester’s architecture, deliver an inclusive, industry-wide event that reflected the true quality of our community’s work, and attract the most influential construction professionals in the area.

The event saw 1000+ attendees from across the construction sector descend upon the Albert Hall to commend, celebrate and revel in the outstanding work of our city’s finest architects.

It was an incredibly proud moment for Manchester Society of Architects to see the community come together to share their talents and champion the character of Manchester’s architectural spirit.

There were 14 unique categories on show, ranging from commercial and community to built and unbuilt, and the judge, Lord Norman Foster, was staggered by the sheer quality and creativity of all the entries.

Congratulations to all the category winners and a massive thank you to everyone who attended the event – we cannot wait for 2020!

1000% increase in audience engagement.
