To champion and nuture the current and future architects of Manchester

The Manchester Society of Architects was founded in 1865 with the aim to establish a scale of professional charges and practice for architects, to arbitrate in disputes involving its members and their employers, to ensure fair play in architectural competitions, to promote the status of architecture as a profession.

Today, we exist to serve the current and future architectural community of Manchester by providing architects with a platform to celebrate their work, by curating educational content to help our members learn and grow, and by offering opportunities for our members to come together socially.
